Dror , a JAJAH employee from Israel , was selected by our parent company Telefónica to participate in this life changing volunteering experience. In an effort to increase awareness, Dror is reporting to us in real time directly from Guatemala:

Democracy day – Guatemala became a democracy only in 1996. The kids learn what democracy is and how to vote.

Research day – the kids learned how to research on their own. We learned  what internet is, how you can use it for research and search, We learned about Google, Wikipedia and facebook. We also learned how to conduct a survey and reach conclusions.

The kids are amazing, eager to learn and always with a smile on their face. It will be hard to leave them. You can see their smile in every painting they have made.

The volunteers are full of enormous motivation and work in synergy as a team. Every each and one of them is one big gift.
